Alyson is an Artist from Central Texas. She graduated from Belhaven University in 2016 with a B.F.A. in Visual Art. Her work explores the beauty in the mundane that goes unacknowledged, seeking to preserve stories and moments in time with analog and digital photography. Through light and surroundings, she looks for the in-between moments that, once seen, are not easily replaced or restored. Alyson was the studio assistant for Artist, Makoto Fujimura, documenting his process and work in studio. She also served as the Collections Assistant at the Center for Photography at Woodstock. Alyson recently completed an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and teaches Art and Photography in San Marcos, Texas.
